Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Arabelle McNamara, or “Dr. Mac,” grew up in Jersey City with her tight-knit family. After having extensive dental work done growing up and into early adulthood, seeking fixes for symptom after symptom, she became inspired to take her own personal experience and use it as motivation to educate patients about oral health and functional dentistry. She considers herself a healthcare partner to her patients, focusing on detecting underlying root causes and abnormalities that lead to dental concerns. She practices her craft with a strong dose of humanity, recognizing that compassion and empathy are of equal importance to the clinical care she delivers.
Dr. McNamara graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Biology and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dentistry. Upon graduation she completed a General Dentist Residency in Jersey City Medical Center. She’s dedicated to enhancing her knowledge through continuous education, allowing her to provide the best possible care to her community, and is an International Congress of Oral Implantologist Fellow and a trained dentist from the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.
When not in the office, Dr. McNamara loves spending time with her college sweetheart and husband, Dennis, and their son, Manny. She stays active through weight lifting and yoga, enjoys the outdoors through hiking and gardening, and loves to be an active member of her Monmouth County community - visiting local parks and Farmer’s Markets regularly. She has a deep love for the Brooklyn Nets, Drew’s Bayside Bistro, ModCup Coffee, sweatsuits, sneakers, cooking, and eating.
Karen, our patient care coordinator, has over 10 years of experience working with patients in the dental field. Starting out as a dental assistant, she transitioned into practice administration. She finds treatment planning and achieving a patient’s dental goals very rewarding. Karen always goes the extra mile to ensure that our patients are taken care of in every way. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Yorkie pups, Coco and Chewy, as well as time at the beach and the gym.
Aimee has 22 years of experience in the dental field. She started her journey in dentistry as a dental assistant and quickly learned that our smiles were not just a kind gesture, but that oral health is important to our overall systemic health. It became her mission to educate and assist her patients on how to keep themselves as healthy as possible. She believes that the healthier we are the happier we feel, and that gives us all more to smile about!
